The complete lineup for the 46th New York Film Festival has been announced. The festival, to run from Sept. 26 to Oct. 12, will highlight American and French productions. “The Class,” directed by Laurent Cantet, is the opening-night film. “Changeling,” a movie by Clint Eastwood that stars Angelina Jolie, at right with Mr. Eastwood, as a single mother, will make its North American debut when it opens as the centerpiece of the festival. Darren Aronofsky’s “Wrestler,” which features Mickey Rourke, is the closing-night selection. In addition to “The Class,” three other French films will be screened, as well as a newly restored print of “Lola Montès” by Max Ophüls, which will be featured as the spotlight retrospective. Other highlights include works by festival alumni like Wong Kar-wai, Mike Leigh andSteven Soderbergh, who is bringing “Che,” starring Benicio Del Toro, to the festival. The main slate of 28 films will be screened at the Ziegfeld Theater in Manhattan. Tickets for the festival go on sale Sept. 7 at noon at Avery Fisher Hall in Lincoln Center.
